The Grimme-Preis awarded Netflix Series “Skylines” is all about Frankfurts holy trinity: Rap, Drugs and Money.

Director Max Erlenwein came to us asking for some favors:

Main actor “Gin” (Edin Hasanovic) needed to play beats. Pro style. In front of the camera. Also some film studios needed to be transformed into authentic and state of the art music studios.

Consider it done, Max!

Multiple finger-drumming world champion and Native Instruments pro user DJ Rafik tought Edin some dead serious drum routines, did some finger doubling and even had a cameo appearance setting the Native Instruments Maschine Mk3 controller on fire.

Most important we could staff all music studios with the extensive range of NI gear and got a serious amount of global screen-time. Win win!
